Editorial and Community Guidelines

Safety first: Content must not include personally identifiable information, such as home address, names, or phone numbers. Ensure no such information is visible in the background of video or audio recordings.

Living-room friendly: Ensure content is suitable for kids under 13. Ask yourself: If this content were on TV, would ever family member be comfortable watching? Avoid content that might cause a ruckus or discomfort in a family setting.

Dress-code: Dress appropriately for your content. For instance, if you’re presenting a science experiment, casual or lab-appropriate attire might be fitting. Revealing clothing is discouraged. Most of the time, no one needs to see your belly button.

Be nice: Content should encourage empowerment, inclusivity, kindness, and respect. Discriminatory or offensive language and actions are prohibited. Even words that might be seen as “borderline” offensive should be avoided. It’s good practice to find constructive and positive alternatives to express feelings.

Advertising: Be mindful of the difference between content and advertising or promotional materials. If you’re urging viewers to take specific actions, such as trying a product or attending an event, it may fall under advertising. Please reach out to info@btwnd.com for advertising options, if relevant.

Fact check: Truthfulness is paramount. If you’re unsure about the accuracy of information, refrain from sharing it. Spreading misinformation is not permissible.

Avoid stress: Steer clear of controversial subjects, such as politics or real-world emergency situations. Likewise, unsafe behaviors, actions, or themes are prohibited. Such topics may not be age-appropriate and necessitate adult supervision or guidance.
