Real Solutions for Raising Kids in a Digital World
Forget everything you've heard about screen time being "bad." The reality? Technology is here to stay, and arbitrary rules about minutes and limits aren't serving our families. It's time for a different conversation.
We don't do fear-mongering. We don't shame parents. And we definitely don't pretend there's a one-size-fits-all solution to raising kids in the digital age.
Instead, we offer research-backed, reality-tested strategies that work in actual families' lives. Because the goal isn't to limit technology – it's to help our kids thrive with it.

Our Expertise Runs Deep
Dr. Carla Engelbrecht brings a unique perspective to digital parenting. After 25 years creating award-winning children's experiences at Netflix and Sesame Workshop, she understands technology from the inside out. As Director of Product Innovation at Netflix, she pioneered interactive storytelling and led the development of family experiences used by millions of children worldwide.
This isn't theoretical knowledge – it's hands-on experience creating the very platforms and features that shape children's digital lives, combining:
Deep expertise in child development and learning science
First-hand knowledge of how technology platforms make decisions
Understanding of what makes digital experiences compelling for kids
Years of research into how families navigate technology together
Our workshops translate this expertise into practical strategies for parents. We don't just know what kids should do with technology – we understand why they do what they do, and how to work with their natural motivations to build better digital habits.
