Have you ever opened your phone and suddenly found yourself deep in an app without even remembering how you got there?"

Welcome to Day 2!

Yesterday, you started noticing how often you pick up your phone. Today, we’ll take it a step further by looking at what you do once you’ve unlocked it. Ever notice how quickly you open certain apps? That’s no accident! Your brain loves routine, and your phone is designed to support these habits.

Today’s challenge is to rearrange the apps on your phone. Move the apps you use most frequently off the home screen, especially those you tend to open automatically or mindlessly, like social media or games. You might also consider putting apps that are more aligned with your goals—like reading, learning, or meditation—front and center.

By changing the layout of your apps, you disrupt those automatic behaviors. It’s a simple step, but it can help you be more intentional about which apps you open and why. And if you’re really committed, you could try deleting or disabling notifications for apps that are the biggest time sinks.

As you rearrange your apps, reflect on which ones you reach for out of habit and which ones you truly need or enjoy using. Do you find it harder to access certain apps now? Does the new arrangement make you pause before diving into screen time?

Remember, today is about small changes that can lead to bigger shifts. Even this one action could have a noticeable impact on your phone use habits.

Comment below: Have you ever thought about rearranging your apps before? How does it feel now that you’ve done it? Do you think it will make a difference in how you use your phone?
